Hotel Ritzenhof can offer you 3*** accommodation in our traditional building or "Stammhaus", and since the expansion of our hotel in April 2003 also 4**** accommodation in the newly built part of our hotel. The hotel is situated in a most beautiful part of Saalfelden, in a picture-like natural setting, yet close to the city centre and different sport facilities.
Our guests have access to a private garden with a sunbathing area and playground for children, situated between the hotel and the guest house.

Hotel Ritzenhof offers its guests four different types of accommodation, whereas guest house Ritzenhof (in a separate building next to the hotel) offers two types of holiday apartments.

Culinary delights are already awaiting you at the breakfast table – whilst enjoying the morning sun on our beautiful terrace or in the panoramic restaurant. At night, you'll embark upon a culinary voyage amidst typical Austrian dishes and international cuisine, prepared with the greatest care and accompanied by a selection of excellent wines.
The bright daylight shining into our restaurant gives it a mediterranean flair, whilst the panoramic windows can be opened for an even better view on the sunny terrace and beautiful surroundings.
Our sunny terrace will enchant you at all times, whether during breakfast in the morning sun, whilst having a light snack at lunchtime or whilst enjoying a barbecue in the evening.
In the evening, our new cocktail bar is the place to be for a relaxing drink. How about a delicious Caipirinha or Colada for an exotic touch?

In summer the two outdoor pools in Saalfelden - with free entry for Ritzenhof guests - cater for everyone, whether looking for a family day, a sporty afternoon or relaxing and sunbathing. Saalfelden is also a paradise for bikers and mountainbikers alike: the choice ranges from biking tours through blooming meadows to special mountainbike trails and a freeride park. Or do you prefer hiking, mountaineering or playing golf?
Saalfelden's central location within a few kilometers of no less than 5 top skiing areas guarantees a ski safari to remember! Cross-country skiers will enjoy over 80 km of runs, starting right in front of our hotel door at the Ritzensee, the highlight being the illuminated run around the Ritzensee. And there's more: ice-skating on the Ritzensee, snowshoe walks, sledding...

When you arrive in Saalfelden, follow the B311 until you see the crossing between the Esso petrol station and Hofer supermarket. Take a turn here and follow the road uphill to the right. Follow the same road for about 1.5 km, until you reach the top of the hill. Then follow the signs to the Ritzensee to reach the Ritzenhof Hotel.
