Originally built in the late 19th century, the Charlesworth is situated in the very centre of Bournemouth, only 5 minutes from the award-winning beaches and the town’s shops, bars and restaurants.
In the town’s Westcliff area, the Charlesworth still retains many of its attractive original period features. Today, the building has been sensitively updated and offers en suite rooms. All room are well equipped, with Freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities, showers and hairdryers.
Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available throughout and the hotel also offers free on-site private parking.
All of the prices include a superb à la carte breakfast, which is freshly cooked to order. A wide variety of choices are available, including full traditional cooked English breakfasts, smoked salmon, haddock, kippers, omelettes and vegetarian burgers.

A short stroll will take you to the pier, Bournemouth’s Oceanarium and the beautiful seafront, featuring safe, award-winning, golden beaches, a range of water sports and glorious scenery. Golf, tennis, bowls, fishing, sailing and windsurfing are all on offer in the area surrounding the hotel. Alternatively, the town boasts a wide variety of restaurants, with something to suit every taste, from sushi to fish and chips and from traditional English specialities to international cuisine.
Close to the Jurassic Coast, Bournemouth also makes a great base for trips to the Isle of Wight, Jersey, France or Brownsea Island.
